New Harvest Releases New Single with Vital Communications Project
Self-Titled ‘New Harvest’ Hitting the Radio Airwaves
Nashville, TN (March 4, 2009) - Vital artist, New Harvest, released their
second single from their studio project, and it’s hitting the radio airwaves
at an accelerating rate bringing these anointed young men to the forefront
with a chemistry uniquely developed with their close family ties; father,
sons, and nephews all in one.
New Harvest members, Terence Hayes, Tim Wilson, and Norman McDuffie began
their ministry in Dayton, Ohio. They were nominated for 3-Dove awards with
their first self-titled record ‘New Harvest’ in 2007 with Vital
Communications after winning the Exalting Him National Talent Search
The self-titled project is under the A&R guidance of Bubba Smith (Shirley
Caesar, Kirk Franklin, Michelle Williams) and Stacy Merida (Bishop T.D.
Jakes, Vicki Yohe). Gospel producers Paul Porter (Christianaires, Salem
Harmonizers), Kyle Bynoe (The Mighty Clouds of Joy) and Bubba Smith produce
New Harvest’s self-titled debut project. “It was a humbling experience for
us the day we learned we were nominated for 3-dove awards.” We owe many
thanks to Daywind, Vital Communications, the president; Ed Leonard and his
wonderful staff.”
New Harvest’s talent and passion for the Gospel has landed them performances
with artists such as Christ Tabernacle Choir, an opening act with Yolanda
Adams and J Moss, and performed at the I Hear Music in the Air Conference
hosted by Tracy Artis. Pastor Donnie McClurkin joined them on stage during
a performance at the church he pastor’s; Perfecting Church in New York City.
“That was a memorable experience we won’t ever forget say’s Terence”. The
single ‘Here I Am Again’ was specifically written by Kyle Bynoe with New
Harvest in mind. When Kyle met the group he felt their kindred spirit as
brothers and a family knit together with a love and passion for ministry.
This song truly ushers in the presence of the Lord with an anointing that
New Harvest truly delivers. The urban track “Don’t Cry” has the urban vibe
that gets your attention; letting you know that you don’t have to cry
anymore; even during trying times; God knows what you’re going through; and
he will bring you through. New Harvest has performed in major markets
including Los Angeles, New York, Detroit, Chicago, and Atlanta. On a true
ministry note; they performed at two state prisons in the fall and
ministered to over 400 prisoners in one day. The men in the place were
hungry for the gospel and New Harvest brought it to them all the way live.
